Manderson MBAs Job Placement Report
2008 Factoids

Return on investment is a hallmark of the Manderson Graduate School of Business MBA program, and the national rankings reflect on the MBA program’s value. The average starting salary of Alabama MBA graduates in 2008 is $70,000, was competitive among other nationally-ranked MBA programs, and compares favorably when cost-of-living adjustments are made to more urban, east, or west coast peer programs.
A success story for the MBA Class of 2008 was the high job acceptance rate, with 83% of the total class seeking employment having accepted placement offers prior to graduation. Graduates of the 2008 class joined Procter & Gamble, Compass Bank, Southern Company, Accenture, AEA Group, FedEx, and Hess, to name a few.
Internships remain a focal point of the Alabama MBA program, and in summer 2008, 100% of MBA students obtained an internship placement.
