A Note from the Career Services Coordinator...

Welcome! I'm thrilled that you've chosen the Manderson Graduate School of Business MBA Program. You have already made an important move toward realizing your career goals by making the commitment to further your education, which will prepare you for the challenges and rewards found in the fast track world of business.

As the University of Alabama's Career Services Coordinator for the Manderson Graduate School of Business, I assist MBA students in their career journey. My goal is to help facilitate the search, and assist in making your search a successful and enjoyable experience. I am committed to providing you with the resources you will need in order to make good decisions regarding your career development and placement choices. It is my desire to get to know you and your career objectives, because if I know your strengths and goals I will advise you appropriately and market you to recruiters you will find appealing.

Career management is essential to our students' success. Each student is given a Career Manual, an outline of career search programs and the necessary opportunities to make contacts and meet with prospective employers. Students must understand that the same hard work that is required of our students in their course work will be required of them in their career search strategy. It is therefore important that each student take advantage of the opportunities presented to them in order to achieve their employment goals.
