Materials required by the general Graduate School office:
Online Application
The Graduate Application Center is found online at http://graduate.ua.edu/application/index.html. Please read the instructions carefully, and you will begin the process by clicking the "Begin Online Graduate Application" button towards the bottom of the page.
At this point, if you are a first-time user of the online graduate application system, you will have to create an account. Be sure to keep track of this information, as you will need it throughout the application process.
Once logged in, be sure to select the appropriate type of application. All applicants to the MBA program must use the general Graduate Application; DO NOT USE the "Application for Currently Enrolled Students".
If you have questions about the online graduate application, please contact the Graduate School office at 205/348-5921.
Statement of Purpose/Intent Essay
You will have the option to electronically submit your essay after finishing your online application. This is the most efficient means of submitting your essay.

GMAT or GRE Official Score Reports
The Manderson MBA Program accepts either the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Applicants should take either exam and request that your scores be submitted electronically to The University of Alabama. (You will do this immediately following your completion of the exam.) We can accept only official score reports from ETS or Pearson Vue that are less than five years old. Official scores must be received before we can evaluate your application. (Check out our Frequently Asked Questions for more details and for preparation information regarding the entrance exams.)
Official Undergraduate Transcripts
The Graduate School office requies two official transcripts from each undergraduate institution that you have attended. Even if you were/are a UA undergraduate, you still must submit two official transcripts before your file can be reviewed. The registrar from each institution should sign across the seal on the back of each transcript envelope. The registrar may return the sealed transcripts to you for you to submit with the rest of your application materials, or they may send them directly to the Graduate School office. (DO NOT send your transcripts to the MBA program office.) The Graduate School office address again is:
